DoesNot.TK Blog
And we're back...
After an extended outage, our TeamSpeak 2 server now has a new home, a new internet connection and is back online! We've also got a TeamSpeak 3 beta server online now, which we're starting to use by default. And our import script has been fixed to account for recent changes to the Steam Community website.
In gaming news, both Battlefield Bad Company 2 and Dawn of War II - Chaos Rising have been released in the last couple of weeks. If you don't want to burn your quota downloading them, grab your copies from Mighty Ape!

Achievements and Twitter integration
Hey guys,
It's taken a while, but at last we have support for logging achievements, Twitter integration, and a Google Calendar applet too!
Don't forget that if you're looking for graphics drivers, game patches and free games you can find them here as well!

New site! Whaddya think?
Hey guys,
I've just rolled out the first prototype of the new site. There's a bunch more features that I want to add in the future, but this is enough to get things going.
Have a play and then let me know what you think.
Upcoming features:
- On-screen event calendar
- Achievement logging
- Server information (TS2, TF2, HL2DM, etc)
- Twitter status updates
- and lots more!

FlatOut 3 announced & stats site on the way!
FlatOut 2 is a great arcade racer with epic damage modelling, but FlatOut 3 is now on the way. The new version adds shinier graphics and new tracks. It also supposedly uses "Real world physics", but if FO2 is anything to go by then they don't mean physics from this world. Watch the trailer now, then get it here when it's released later this month.
In other news, I'm working on a new web site that will consolidate our playing time statistics from various sources into a nice, simple view. It will also allow us to award achievements such as Player Of The Week on a more measured basis. All going to plan, it'll be up and running here before the end of the month!

HLstatsX links now available
Hi guys,
As you can see, in the sidebar I've added some links to various HLstatsX servers in the area. You can click through to go straight to the stats for our clan. The GamePlanet one is the most useful, but I thought I may as well add the others anyway.
How cool is that?!

HOWTO: Receive free SMS or email notifications of our events
Did you know that you can get a TXT reminding you of our events? For free? Cool, huh?
To do this, you need to make use of Google Calendar.
- Go to http://calendar.google.com/
- If you already have a Google account (such as a Gmail or Google Reader account) enter your user name and password, then click Sign In. If you don't yet have a Google account, click the Create an Account button and follow the instructions.
- Once you're in Google Calendar, look on the left hand side of the screen. Just below the mini calendar, you'll see an Add button. Click it, then choose Add by URL.
- In the box labelled Public Calendar Address, enter http://doesnot.tk/DoesNotTK.ics then click Add.
- In the calendar list on the left, you should see the new calendar. Click the drop down arrow to the right of it, then click Notifications. Click the Set up your mobile phone to receive notifications link.
- Select your country and enter your mobile number with the country code prefix. For instance, if your New Zealand number is 0215551234 enter +64215551234. Click Save.
- When you receive your Verification Code as a TXT message to your phone, enter it in the box, then click Finish Setup.
- Finally, go back to the Notifications screen by clicking on the drop down arrow beside the calendar name and choosing Notifications, then click Add a reminder. Select SMS, and the amount of time before each event that you wish to be reminded, then click Save.
Of course, if you'd prefer to receive email notifications instead, skip steps 5 through 7, then choose Email instead of SMS.
Happy gaming!

TeamSpeak server now up and running!
Hi guys,
Just a quick note to let you know that the TeamSpeak server is up and running. You can find it at ts.doesnot.tk. The server password is the same as our Hamachi password.
I've even added a cool little sidebar applet to show who's currently online. Click the server name or the channel name to join.

Event Calendar feed now available!
Hi guys,
I've got a little script set up now that makes the DoesNot.TK event calendar available in iCalendar format so that you synchronise it with your mail client or Google Calendar. The script is pretty basic at the moment, but I hope to improve it in the coming weeks. Stay tuned!
You can find the feed at http://doesnot.tk/DoesNotTK.ics.

Welcome to DoesNot.TK!
Hi there and welcome to DoesNot.TK!
This site is devoted to our love of gaming, both on PCs and consoles. Over the coming weeks, we'll add a number of reviews of the latest games we've played. We'll also update you on the latest news in the gaming world!
DoesNot.TK will also become the place for you to find links to the latest in game demos and patches. And if there's anything else you'd like to hear about, drop me a line: carey@doesnot.tk.

Why DoesNot.TK?
Well, we often play First Person Shooters (FPS) where it's not a good idea to kill your team mates. This is known as Team Killing or TK. When we found that this domain was available, we thought that it'd be great to get the email addresses ourname@doesnot.tk! And what could be better than supporting the island community of Tokelau in the process!
